First Release Event - Pomme Noir Apple Brandy

Labor Day Weekend Saturday, September 2nd  10AM - 7PM Sunday, September 3rd  10AM - 6PM We are thrilled to debut our first release of Pomme Noir.  Tremendous time and careful consideration has gone into creating the Pomme Noir apple brandy and Pomme Noir de Glace.  Crafted with Vermont apples, cold fermented, triple distilled, and oak aged for four years in American oak barrels giving it caramelized apple flavor with a smooth finish and notes of vanilla and oak.  Exclusively available at Boyden, we are excited to have you at our main winery location in Cambridge, Vermont to experience our new products . This series on the first Wednesdays of the month all summer is a great opportunity to learn more about the GMC, listen to local musicians, and enjoy beautiful summer weather. Food trucks will be on site. Make sure to bring your instruments and join the jam! The September social will feature Taco Truck All Stars.

Vanishing Vermonters - An evening with Peter Miller

Local photographer and writer Peter Miller will discuss his new book: Vanishing Vermonters: Loss of Rural Culture at the Stowe Free Library. Vanishing Vermonters, due out in early fall, highlights 23 rural Vermonters who express, in their own words, their thoughts on the culture of rural Vermont and how it has changed. Books will be available for sale. This is a free talk with light refreshments provided.
