Experience Downtown

We invite you to explore historic Waterbury Village!  Our pedestrian-friendly community offers a wealth of retail shops, restaurants and bars, specialty food and drink, and professional service options for visitors from near and far to enjoy. Whether you’re looking to spend the day shopping, learning about the fine art of home-brewing, or watching a master tea blender or coffee brewer at work, downtown Waterbury has something memorable to offer! Be sure to check out our walking tour of Waterbury, peruse our featured events and view our list of downtown businesses to see all that they have to offer.

The Boston Globe featured dozens of Waterbury's finest!

Waterbury Rail Art Project

Revitalizing Waterbury, the Waterbury Rotary Club and the Sons of the American Legion, in conjunction with the town of Waterbury and the Vermont Arts Council, are commissioning an artist (or artist team) to deliver and install an original, permanent, site-specific piece of art to be located on the railroad bridge at the entrance to Waterbury Village. For more information or to support the project, contact Karen Nevin.

Waterbury Train Station Community room refresh

Revitalizing Waterbury is looking for a partner to help refresh a community gathering space located at the Waterbury Train Station.  The Community Room is used as a waiting room for Amtrak passengers, provides a second entrance to the Green Mountain Coffee Cafe and Visitors Center and provides tourist information to visitors.  Volunteer RW Community Ambassadors staff the space during high traffic times of the year.  To download the the complete RFP, click HERE.  For more information, contact Karen Nevin.
