Organization and Event volunteer opportunities:

Waterbury is a vibrant and welcoming community, made stronger by the incredible number of organizations and groups that thrive here thanks to dedicated volunteers. From recreation, and local events to environmental efforts, civic engagement, and support services, there’s truly something for everyone to get involved in. The impact of volunteers can be seen in our clean streets, thriving public spaces, creative programs, and the sense of connection we share as neighbors.

Below is a list of many of the organizations that welcome volunteer support, though it may not be exhaustive. If you’re involved in a group that isn’t listed, please reach out—we’d love to include everyone. Every hour of help makes a difference, and we’re so grateful for the many people who give back to this community. Thank you for helping make Waterbury such a special town!
